Space Center Houston, Houston, TX
Adventure downloading from Space Center Houston This full size model of a Space Shuttle Orbiter's nose section allows access to both mid deck and flight deck. Heavy detailing on the outside gives the appearance of a veteran orbiter. The front landing gear looks very authentic. The interior is also well executed with some modification to allow visitor access. The flight deck's aft bulkhead has been placed back about 12 feet to allow easy walk throughs and good views of the instrument displays.  A red arrow on the floor points to the true location of the bulkhead.
