Apollo
Boilerplate
Apollo County Park, Lancaster, CA
This boilerplate is found at Apollo County Park, part of the Los Angeles County Park sysytem, along side three stocked lakes named for Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins . It is located near the park entrance in a protective enclosure under a louvered awning and is difficult to take a good photo due to shadows and reflections.  I liked this one best, as it shows a very unique hatch and eva handles.  The parachute compartment and coloring gives indication this was used in some type of parachute drop tests. Any comments or clues?
